Bardblue is also one of the leading modders of the fledgling DoS:2 modding community. You'll always have to find a way to win the fight as it presents itself. It's also random so if you die and reload a save, you won't get the same monsters the second time. This mod increases difficulty not by simply bloating stats but by changing the strengths and abilities of enemies. Enemies also have a small chance to essentially level up to a champion version of themselves gaining stronger buffs and having a higher chance to drop rarer loot. These buffs can range from things like haste to vampiric to additional skills or simple magic or physical armor increases. What this mod does is simple: At the beginning of each fight, all enemies are given a random and permanent buff. If you don't get any other difficulty mod, I strongly recommend this one.
